Job summary

Interaction Recruitment Group is looking for a Mobile Hydraulic Technician to join the Milton Keynes team. You will provide on-site hydraulic hose repair and replacement services with full training provided and a company van.

The role includes a 24-hour on-call rota, a base salary of £32,000-£35,000 plus a bonus scheme with an OTE of £45,000, and ongoing career development. This is a permanent, field-based position suitable for mechanically minded individuals.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in mechanical/plant/engineering/hydraulic/HGV/automotive environments.
• Basic mechanical knowledge and fault-finding ability.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage workload.
• Good manual dexterity and practical problem-solving.
• Professional and customer-focused attitude.
• Willingness to participate in a 24-hour on-call rota.
• Full UK Driving Licence required.
• Hydraulic hose experience is advantageous but not essential; full training provided.

Responsibilities

• Provide on-site hydraulic hose replacement and repair services.
• Attend customer sites to diagnose and repair failures.
• Participate in a 24-hour on-call rota (weekends/holidays).
• Promote company products and services to customers.
• Maintain health and safety standards.
• Manage stock levels within MSSU.
• Carry out vehicle inspections and checks.
• Keep service vehicle clean, stocked, and organized.
• Maintain documentation of technical procedures.
• Support workshop and service centre staff.
• Attend training courses and development programmes.
