Job summary

Hydraquip is seeking a field-based service engineer to attend customer sites and replace hydraulic hoses and components. You will diagnose faults, carry out repairs safely, and deliver excellent customer service while working independently.

Based in the UK, this role includes an on‑call rota, a company van, PPE and uniform, and ongoing training with clear opportunities for career progression.

Qualifications

• Experience replacing hydraulic hoses and components on site.
• Confident communication with customers and colleagues.
• Full UK manual driving licence and safe working practices.

• Attending customer sites to replace hydraulic hoses and components
• Diagnosing faults and completing repairs safely and efficiently
• Working independently while delivering excellent customer service
• Updating jobs and reports via the company mobile app
• Building relationships with new and existing customers

Essential Experience

What we’re looking for

• Experience in hose replacement, plant, HGV, agricultural or mechanical fitting
• Full UK manual driving licence
• Confidence dealing directly with customers

Desirable Experience

• Mobile or on‑call engineering experience
• Commercial awareness or customer development experience

This role includes participation in an on‑call rota, typically one week in every four.
