Job summary

Johnson Controls is seeking a Mobile HVAC Service Technician to service, maintain and repair a wide range of HVAC systems across the South West, including Plymouth, Exeter and Bridgwater. The role requires diagnosing faults, conducting PPMs, and performing repairs to ensure safe, efficient operation.

You will work independently or as part of a team, covering systems from split and multi-split to VRF/VRV, chillers and AHUs, while upholding safety standards and delivering excellent customer

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 2 in HVAC or equivalent.
• F-Gas 2079 Cat 1 certification.
• Broad HVAC service experience across AC, refrigeration, ventilation and chiller systems.
• Experience with York, Daikin, Mitsubishi Electric, Hitachi, Carrier, Trane, Toshiba and Panasonic.
• Knowledge of BMS interfaces and HVAC control systems advantageous.
• Able to interpret wiring diagrams and schematics.
• Full UK driving licence.
• Strong customer-facing and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Service, maintain, and repair HVAC systems across the South West.
• Diagnose faults and carry out planned maintenance (PPM).
• Complete repairs and recommend system improvements.
• Work independently or as part of a service team with safety and quality at the core.
• Handle systems including split, multi-split, VRF/VRV, chillers, AHUs, ventilation, and heat pumps.
• Ensure work aligns with customer agreements and health and safety standards.
