Job summary

Apleona UK is seeking a Mobile HVAC Service Engineer to carry out maintenance and repairs across our client portfolio in the Northampton region. You will diagnose faults, perform PPM tasks, and ensure HVAC systems operate safely and efficiently.

You will work independently, possibly in a call-out rota, with strong emphasis on customer service and accurate records. A valid UK driving licence is required, and training and development opportunities are provided.

Qualifications

• City & Guilds 2079 Category 1 F-Gas qualification or equivalent.
• NVQ Level 3 Diploma in Refrigeration and Air Conditioning or equivalent.
• Proven experience in planned and reactive maintenance in commercial environments.
• Experience with air conditioning split systems, VRF/VRV.
• Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills across HVAC systems.
• Ability to work independently and manage workload.
• Excellent communication and customer-facing skills.
• Experience maintaining service and compliance records.

Responsibilities

• Undertake planned preventative maintenance and reactive repairs.
• Fault finding and diagnostics across HVAC systems.
• Occasional installation works across client portfolio.
• Complete maintenance documentation and records.
• Operate within health and safety standards and service-level requirements.
• Participate in call-out rota and respond to emergencies.
