Job summary

Multevo are seeking multiple Highways Maintenance Operatives to join our Shrewsbury-based team. This mobile role requires a Full UK Driving Licence, CSCS credential or current application, and experience in highways maintenance with asphalt works (hand lay or machine lay).

All equipment and PPE are provided. Immediate start dates are available, with varying shifts, overtime, and weekend work to support our gangs on-site.

Qualifications

• Experience in highways maintenance and asphalt works is essential.
• CSCS Green card or proof of application is required; NRSWA/SWQR certificates preferred.
• Lantra 12D traffic-management qualifications are expected; Abrasive Wheels & Manual Handling desirable.

Responsibilities

• Carry out highways maintenance tasks including pothole repair, resurfacing support, patching and surface dressing assistance.
• Hand lay and assist with machine lay asphalt works.
• Lifting and replacing ironworks, kerbs and flags safely and accurately.
• Operate, assist and maintain small plant and tools in line with safety procedures.
• Follow site traffic management plans and work with traffic marshals when required.
• Complete site paperwork, defect reporting and basic daily checks.
• Ensure all work meets the required quality and health & safety standards.
• Work as part of a team, supporting colleagues and supervisors to meet programme requirements.
