Job summary

Veolia is seeking a Mobile HGV Technician to join our Gerrards Cross depot. You will be responsible for keeping our HGV fleet on the road, performing routine inspections, fault finding and repairs, and ensuring tools and equipment are secured each night.

The role offers a 40-hour week, training opportunities, and various health and employee benefit programs. Desirable qualifications include an NVQ Level 3 Vehicle Qualification and a valid HGV licence or willingness to obtain one through

Qualifications

NVQ Level 3 Vehicle Qualification preferred.
HGV driving licence desirable or training planned.
Own comprehensive toolbox required.

Responsibilities

Support Gerrards cross Commercial depot.
Keep HGVs on the road so operatives can carry out their duties for our millions of customers.
Carry out routine body inspections, defect repairs, fault finding and repairs to ensure our fleet is reliable, available and safe.
Secure workshop van and personal tools; lock away each night; power off equipment when not in use.
Attend roadside breakdowns if required and work as part of a team.
