Job summary

Go North East is seeking a Mobile Technician to cover multiple depots across the region. You will maintain and repair fleet vehicles, ensuring readiness for annual PCV tests while adhering to safety and regulatory standards.

The role requires an HGV/PCV fitter with at least 5 years of experience, NVQ Level 2 or equivalent, and a manual car licence. PCV licence is preferred but not essential, with 38 hours weekly and overtime as needed.

Qualifications

• Applicant must be fully qualified HGV or PCV fitter with NVQ level 2 or equivalent.
• Minimum 5 years experience.
• Experience with Cummins, Volvo, Mercedes, Yutong, Wrightbus.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair company vehicles to high standards.
• Prepare vehicles for annual PCV tests.
• Diagnose and rectify vehicle faults with precision.
• Ensure service vehicles meet fleet requirements and safety standards.
• Comply with health and safety and factory regulations.
