Job summary

Holt Recruitment Ltd on behalf of a client is seeking a Mobile Heavy Plant Engineer to join the engineering team in Chelmsford and surrounding areas. The role involves carrying out servicing, maintenance and repairs on heavy plant and construction machinery in the field.

The ideal candidate will have strong mechanical/hydraulic diagnostic skills, experience with heavy plant or construction machinery, and the ability to work independently across a mobile workload.

Qualifications

• Strong mechanical and hydraulic diagnostic skills.
• Experience diagnosing electrical faults on heavy plant.
• Able to work independently and manage a mobile workload.
• Full UK driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Carry out servicing, maintenance and repairs on heavy plant and construction machinery.
• Diagnose mechanical, hydraulic and electrical faults.
• Attend breakdowns and complete repairs on customer sites.
• Complete inspections, service reports and maintenance paperwork.
• Deliver a professional service to customers across your assigned area.
