Job summary

United Plant Services is a Derby-based provider of heavy mobile equipment maintenance, delivering engineering support and fleet management in quarrying and waste sectors. As a Mobile Heavy Mechanical Engineer you will service, repair, and inspect a wide range of heavy plant, ensuring safe, productive operations and high service standards for customers.

The role requires NVQ Level 3 in Plant Maintenance or equivalent, experience with hydraulic, mechanical, and electrical systems, and a proven

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 3 in Plant Maintenance or equivalent.
• Proven experience servicing and repairing heavy plant equipment.
• Experience with Liebherr, CAT, Komatsu or Volvo.
• Knowledge of hydraulic, mechanical and electrical systems.
• Ability to work independently under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Carrying out servicing, maintenance and repairs on heavy plant equipment.
• Diagnosing faults across hydraulic, mechanical and electrical systems.
• Completing planned preventative maintenance and inspections.
• Delivering high-quality customer service and responding to queries.
• Maintaining health, safety, and company policies and reporting.
