Job summary

Path Recruitment Ltd is assisting in recruiting a Mobile Generator Engineer to cover East Anglia. The role involves servicing standby power equipment, conducting inspections, fault diagnostics and repairs across multiple sites with a focus on reliability and customer service.

You will work field-based with a mix of preventative maintenance and reactive breakdown support, benefiting from overtime, progression opportunities and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Experience working on diesel-powered equipment or standby power systems.
• Recognised Mechanical or Electrical engineering qualification.
• Full UK driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Travel across East Anglia to perform planned maintenance, inspections and repairs on standby power equipment.
• Diagnose faults and carry out repairs to ensure reliable service.
• Provide professional, customer-facing service and maintain high engineering standards.

About the Role

As a Mobile Generator Engineer, you'll travel across the East Anglia carrying out planned maintenance, inspections, fault diagnosis and repairs on standby power equipment. You'll work independently, ensuring customers receive a professional and reliable service while maintaining high engineering standards. No two days are the same, with a varied workload that includes preventative maintenance, reactive breakdowns and supporting wider engineering projects when required.

About You

The ideal Mobile Generator Engineer will have previous experience working on diesel-powered equipment or standby power systems, together with a recognised Mechanical or Electrical engineering qualification. You'll enjoy working in a customer-facing environment, be confident solving technical problems and be happy travelling throughout the East Anglia. A full UK driving licence is essential.
