Job description

Role: Mobile Gas Supervisor

Location: London - Mobile

Role Summary:

We are seeking a reliable and experienced Gas Engineer to perform service maintenance on high-end commercial sites across Greater London. The successful candidate will deliver professional service to our clients, working on a variety of Gas systems.

You will serve as the Gas Supervisor for the area, splitting your time between supervisory duties and hands-on work.

Main Duties & Responsibilities:

1. Attend and complete PPMs & reactive works, including breakdowns.
2. Troubleshoot and fault find on all Gas systems.
3. Produce quotations for works and remedials following service visits.
4. Work independently and collaboratively with team members.
5. Operate in a mobile role across Greater London.
6. Complete all site paperwork and update logbooks.
7. Participate in the Out of Hours Call Out Rota.
8. Role includes van, uniform, PDA, and mobile phone.

Knowledge, Skills & Experience:

1. Minimum of certifications: COCN1, ICPN1, CIGA1, CDGA1, TPCP1, TCP1A, CCN1, CENWAT, and applicable domestic qualifications.
2. Excellent knowledge of current gas regulations.
3. Experience with a range of commercial and domestic appliances and installations.
4. At least 3 years of extensive fault-finding and rectification experience in commercial settings.
5. Knowledge of major manufacturers such as Valliant Powermatic, Riello, Broag, Combat, Ambi-Rad, Ideal, Potterton, Nu Way, Worcester, etc.
6. Good understanding of heating systems, controls, and BMS systems (desirable).
7. Strong plumbing skills.
8. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, flexible approach, and positive attitude.
9. Full UK driving license.
10. DBS Check clearance.
