Job summary

LiveWest is seeking a Gas Engineer to maintain and improve properties in the Bath area. The role covers fault diagnosis, repair, servicing, and installation of domestic heating systems, with a strong emphasis on safety and customer service.

Candidates should have CCN1, CENWAT1 and related gas qualifications, plus driving licence. The job offers a company van, full kit, generous leave, pension, and ongoing development opportunities within LiveWest’s Property Services team.

Qualifications

• Experience in the gas industry with responsive maintenance.
• Proficiency in diagnosing boiler faults, servicing, and installation work.
• Experience working in customers' homes with a professional approach.
• Knowledge of health and safety procedures for a safe working environment.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair domestic heating systems incl. fault-finding and servicing.
• Ensure work meets regulations and safety requirements with high workmanship.
• Provide excellent customer service and professional customer interactions.
• Perform periodic testing and installation work complying with best practices.
• Follow health and safety procedures to maintain safe site conditions.
• Participate in on-call rota and training as required.
