Job summary

LiveWest is seeking a skilled Gas Engineer to maintain and improve our housing stock in the Totnes area. This mobile role covers properties across the patch, with a requirement to be within a 30-minute commute.

You will diagnose faults, service boilers, and ensure safety and quality in line with regulations. The role supports a dedicated Property Services team, offering a permanent full-time position and access to a range of benefits and learning opportunities.

Qualifications

• Proven gas industry experience with responsive maintenance.
• Ability to diagnose boiler faults and perform annual servicing.
• Experience working in customers' homes with a professional approach.
• Knowledge of health and safety practices in field work.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair domestic heating systems across properties.
• Ensure work meets regulations, safety standards and quality benchmarks.
• Deliver high standards of customer service and professionalism.
• Carry out periodic testing and installation work as required.
• Adhere to health and safety policies and maintain a safe work environment.
• Participate in the on-call rota as needed.
