Job summary

Mitie Group plc is looking for a Gas Engineer to join the North West team. You will perform planned, reactive and emergency maintenance on gas systems and support plumbing and basic electrical tasks, ensuring adherence to SLAs and maintenance schedules.

Required are City & Guilds Level II/III and commercial gas qualifications (CCN1, CODNCO1, TPCP1/1A, ICPN1, CIGA1, CDGA1, CORT1) with good health and safety practices, plus basic electrical and plumbing experience.

Qualifications

• City & Guilds Level II/III or equivalent in gas engineering.
• Commercial gas qualifications: CCN1, CODNCO1, TPCP1/1A, ICPN1, CIGA1, CDGA1, CORT1 required.
• Knowledge of health and safety and safe working practices.
• Basic electrical knowledge and plumbing experience.

Responsibilities

• Carry out planned, reactive, and emergency maintenance on gas appliances and associated systems
• Support plumbing and basic electrical maintenance tasks
• Diagnose faults and complete repairs within contractual timescales
• Complete all documentation and certification accurately and on time
• Monitor subcontractors and issue permits for small works as required
• Regular PPM tasks as required
