Job summary

Randstad Construction & Property is seeking an experienced Mobile Commercial Gas & FGAS Engineer to cover commercial sites across South East London. In this role, you will be responsible for planned preventative maintenance (PPM), reactive repairs, and fault finding across commercial heating, boiler plant rooms, and air conditioning/HVAC systems.

The position requires ACS Commercial Gas tickets, F-Gas certification, and a clean UK driving licence.

Qualifications

• Valid ACS Commercial Gas tickets (COCN1 / CODNCO1, CIGA1, CORT1, CDGA1, ICPN1).
• Category 1 F-Gas (City & Guilds 2079 / CITB).
• Full UK Driving Licence (clean or low points).

Responsibilities

• Planned & Reactive Maintenance: carry out routine PPMs, servicing, and reactive repairs on commercial heating systems, boilers, water heaters, and AC equipment.
• Diagnostics & Fault Finding: inspect, troubleshoot, and repair mechanical plant room issues and refrigeration/HVAC circuits.
• Compliance & Safety: ensure all work adheres to Gas Safe regulations, F-Gas compliance standards, and British Safety regulations.
• System Testing: perform gas tightness testing, flue gas analysis, and complete digital job sheets via CAFM / mobile software.
• Client Engagement: act as a professional technical point of contact for on-site facility managers and building owners.

Salary: 52,000 per annum + Company Van & Fuel Card

Working Hours: Monday - Friday (Standard Day Shift)

About the Role
