Job summary

Castelan is seeking a Furniture Technician to join our expanding team. You will work directly in customers' homes, carrying out repairs and restoration to upholstery, leather and wooden furniture while delivering a professional, friendly service.

Training is provided, with opportunities to develop your skills and progress within the company. You will travel to diverse locations, meet various customers, and contribute to maintaining high-quality workmanship and customer satisfaction across the UK.

Qualifications

• Experience in repairing and restoring furniture including upholstery and leather.
• Ability to diagnose faults and perform professional repairs to high standards.
• Willingness to visit and work in customers' homes and travel between locations.

Responsibilities

• Visiting customers to assess and repair upholstery, leather, wooden furniture and related items
• Diagnosing faults and carrying out professional repairs to a consistently high standard
• Completing accurate reports and submitting information promptly
• Working towards first-visit resolution and quality targets
• Promoting furniture care products where appropriate
• Maintaining company tools, equipment and vehicle to a professional standard
• Sharing feedback and suggestions that help drive continuous improvement
