Job summary

Luton Bennett is recruiting a Mobile Forklift Engineer (Field Service Engineer/Mechanic/Vehicle Technician) in Northampton. The role offers up to £37,000 for a 40-hour week or up to £42,000 for a 45-hour week, with a Monday-to-Friday pattern. You will service and repair forklifts and related equipment across a defined region.

You’ll operate from a company van, with training to become fully competent on the machinery. Overtime is available and a pension is provided, along with other benefits.

Qualifications

• Experience working with forklifts, HGVs, plant or similar equipment.
• Ability to carry out PPM and breakdown on materials handling machinery.
• Willingness to work in a field service role within the Northampton area.

Responsibilities

• Carry out PPM and breakdown on materials handling machinery on a field service engineering basis.
• Reactive breakdown coverage within the allocated geographical area.
• Complete comprehensive training to get fully competent on all machinery and equipment.
• Spares placed in van overnight.
