Job summary

Interaction Technical partnered role for a Mobile Forklift Engineer based in Peterborough, Cambridgeshire. The package includes a salary of £36,000–£41,000 (door-to-door paid) with typical Monday–Friday hours and overtime at 1.5x.

The role involves diagnosing faults, servicing forklifts and plant equipment, and travelling to customer sites to perform planned and emergency maintenance. A full UK driving licence is required.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in the forklift or plant industry is essential.
• Strong mechanical fault-finding and electrical fault-finding skills are essential.
• Experience working with hydraulics, engines and battery systems is essential.
• Full UK driving licence is required.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose faults, service and repair forklifts and plant equipment.
• Respond to breakdowns and carry out reactive maintenance.
• Travel to customer sites to complete planned and emergency work.
• Work independently while maintaining high service standards.
• Liaise with customers to provide effective technical solutions.
• Complete job reports and ensure accurate documentation.
• Work on engines, batteries, hydraulics, and electrical/mechanical systems.

Interaction Technical have partnered with a well-established and growing material handling business, currently seeking an experienced Mobile Forklift Engineer to join their expanding team.
