Job summary

Thrive SW is seeking a Fire & Security Service Engineer to cover Dorset and surrounding areas. The role focuses on service, maintenance and fault-finding of Fire & Security systems, including CCTV, intruder alarms, access control and emergency lighting.

You will perform repairs, reactive calls and planned maintenance while supporting small works, installations and commissioning. A strong customer-service ethos and safety awareness are essential.

Qualifications

• Previous Fire & Security service and maintenance experience.
• Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills.
• Experience with CCTV, Intruder, Access Control and Fire systems.
• Good communication and customer service skills.
• Understanding of relevant Health & Safety requirements.
• Full UK driving licence.
• Desirable: CSCS card and relevant manufacturer/product training.

Responsibilities

• Service, maintenance and fault-finding of Fire & Security systems.
• Work on CCTV, Intruder Alarms, Access Control, Door Entry and Emergency Lighting.
• Carry out repairs, reactive call-outs and planned maintenance.
• Support with small works, installations and commissioning.
• Complete service reports and job documentation.
• Provide excellent customer service.
• Participate in an on-call rota.
