Job summary

Fortus Recruitment Group Limited currently seeks an experienced FRA Carpenter for a mobile/field-based role around Harlow. You will install, repair and maintain fire doors, undertake passive fire protection works and respond to Fire Risk Assessments with strict adherence to safety standards.

The position is contract (temp) with 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday, and requires a valid fire door installation background and BM TRADA/ housing repairs experience.

Qualifications

• Experience installing, maintaining and repairing fire doors.
• Knowledge of fire safety requirements and passive fire protection.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Install, repair and maintain fire doors.
• Carry out fire door upgrade works and install certified sets.
• Undertake passive fire protection maintenance and fire-stopping works.
• Record jobs using PDA/mobile devices and ensure safety compliance.
• Work in occupied residential properties with attention to detail.
