Job description

Mobile Fire & Security Engineer needed

Our client is one of the largest, independent, and privately-owned companies providing best-in-class people, technology, and training solutions. They are looking for a Mobile Fire & Security Engineer to cover Scotland (Bathgate, Edinburgh, Glasgow) on a full-time permanent basis.

Salary: 35K Per Annum

Area: Covering Scotland UK- Bathgate/Edinburgh/Glasgow

Skill Base Requirements:
  1. Proven experience in the installation, maintenance, and servicing of Fire and Security Systems with preferred knowledge in CCTV systems
  2. Strong technical knowledge of Fire Alarms, Intruder, CCTV, Access Control, Intercoms, Extinguishers
  3. Familiarity with relevant safety regulations and industry standards
  4. Both Installation and Reactive/Preventative Maintenance
Professional Qualifications & Licenses (holding or working towards a distinct advantage):
  1. Certification or training in Fire and Security Systems installation and maintenance
  2. A full five-year checkable employment history including a minimum of 2 work references, a personal credit check, right of work compliance
  3. Valid driver's license and clean driving record
  4. CSCS Card (preferred but not essential)
  5. IPAF Licence
  6. Other appropriate qualifications
Required Skills:
  1. Passionate about delivering a best-in-class service

  3. Ability to work at heights and in various outdoor environments
  4. Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  5. Proficiency in using relevant software and tools for configuration and maintenance

We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Installation/Service Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and servicing of temporary systems.

Service Responsibilities:
  1. Deliver a best-in-class service through a quality resourced and well-managed infrastructure
  2. Delivering customer service excellence involves understanding what has been installed and exceeding customer expectations.
  3. Understand the Kingdom business and our processes to deliver customer service excellence
Specific Tasks Include:
  1. Install, configure, commission and test systems
  2. Perform regular maintenance and troubleshooting
  3. Remote diagnostics experience
  4. Network and infrastructure experience
  5. Respond promptly to service calls and resolve technical issues on-site
  6. Conduct site surveys and assessments to determine the best placement and configuration of systems
  7. Ensure compliance with relevant safety regulations and industry standards
  8. Maintain accurate records and documentation of installations, maintenance activities, and service calls
  9. Provide training and support to clients on the operation and basic maintenance
  10. Collaborate with project managers, site supervisors, and other stakeholders to ensure successful deployments
