Job summary

Alpha Fire Alarms, part of Complii, is seeking a Fire Alarm Service Engineer to join the Southeast/London area on a mobile/onsite basis, supporting the delivery of vital life safety service.

This role focuses on servicing, inspection, and maintenance of fire alarm systems across a range of sites, ensuring full compliance with relevant standards and delivering high-quality, reliable service.

Qualifications

• Experience with conventional and analogue addressable fire alarm systems.
• Knowledge of BS 5839-1 & 6 standards and fire alarm software tools.
• Willingness to travel across sites; CSCS/ECS card preferred.

Responsibilities

• Carry out service inspections, maintenance, and repairs on fire alarm and life safety systems to high standards within timescales.
• Diagnose faults, report deviations to management, and ensure systems are compliant and operational.
• Complete documentation including site paperwork, expenses, and timesheets using relevant software.
• Promote health and safety and maintain strong client relationships with broad product knowledge.
