Job summary

Energy Jobline CVL is seeking a Fire Engineer for a Buckingham-based role. The position covers Buckinghamshire and surrounding areas, with a mobile aspect and full UK driving licence required.

The package includes a salary between £35,000 and £45,000 plus van, tools, PPE, phone and laptop. You will install, service, and fault-find fire alarm systems across commercial, domestic, and educational environments.

Qualifications

• Experience installing, servicing and commissioning fire alarm systems.
• CSCS card holder required.
• Background in commercial, domestic, schools environments.
• Ability to fault-find and repair faults.
• Knowledge of fire safety regulations and British standards.
• Full UK driving licence required.
• FIA Level 3 qualification preferred.
• 18th Edition training is optional.
• BAFE qualification is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Travelling to client sites and installing fire alarm systems.
• Carrying out routine servicing and maintenance of detectors and emergency lighting.
• Diagnosing faults and performing basic repairs.
• Testing and commissioning in line with regulations.
• Documenting service reports and providing onsite support.
• Maintaining health and safety standards on job sites.
