Job summary

Luton Bennett is seeking a Field Service Engineer (Mobile Vehicle Technician/Mechanic/Forklifts) to service forklifts and related equipment across Reading & Guildford. The role involves home-based work with UK travel, carrying out PPMs and breakdowns on material handling machinery.

The ideal candidate will have forklift/plant experience, possibly HGV or automotive background, and a Level 3 or equivalent in a relevant subject. A fully expensed van and generous benefits are provided.

Qualifications

• Field service role involving mobile engineering to service forklifts and related equipment.
• Experience with material handling machinery is a plus.
• Ability to work from home base and travel to sites within reasonable distance.

Responsibilities

• Carry out planned preventative maintenance and breakdowns on forklifts and related equipment.
• Complete training to become fully competent on all machinery.
• Spare parts stocked in the van for rapid on-site repairs.
