Job summary

Libra Recruitment Group B.V. is seeking an experienced Field Service Engineer to join the expanding service team. You will travel across the UK to maintain, service and repair packaging equipment, with a company van provided for use as a mobile workshop.

Key duties include fault‑finding on mechanical and electrical systems, maintaining records, and building strong customer relationships while visiting various sites. Training and development opportunities are offered as part of the role.

Qualifications

• Experience working with packaging machinery or similar automated/mechanical equipment.
• Strong mechanical and electrical fault‑finding skills.
• Full UK driving licence.
• Comfortable with UK travel and occasional overnight stays.
• Self‑motivated, organised and able to manage your own workload.

Responsibilities

• Carry out preventative maintenance, servicing and repairs on packaging machinery.
• Diagnose mechanical, electrical and control‑system faults.
• Complete service visits efficiently, ensuring minimal downtime for customers.
• Manage your van as a mobile workshop and parts store.
• Receive parts shipped directly to your home address.
• Maintain accurate service records and documentation.
• Build strong customer relationships through professional communication and reliable service.
• Collaborate with the wider engineering team and attend head office when required.
