Job summary

Pertemps Bond is seeking a Field Service Engineer to service, commission and maintain equipment at client sites across the South of the UK. This permanent, full-time role requires strong hands-on technical skills and the ability to travel with a company van, phone and laptop provided.

You will work independently on site while being part of a supportive service team, with training and clear progression opportunities in a specialist engineering environment.

Qualifications

• Previous experience working with engineering equipment.
• Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills.
• Full clean UK driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Carry out servicing, maintenance, and remedial works on equipment.
• Plan and prepare work using equipment specifications and system drawings.
• Complete pre-commissioning checks and commission equipment on site.
• Troubleshoot faults, complete repairs and replacements, and reinstate systems to full operation.
• Prepare reports, condition surveys, and basic estimates for parts, materials, and labour.
