Job summary

TipTopJob is seeking a Mobile Vehicle Technician to service and repair forklifts and related materials-handling equipment across the Essex area. You will start from home and cover a local radius, performing PPMs and breakdowns with comprehensive manufacturer training.

The role offers a fully expensed Ford Transit Custom van, along with fuel card, pension, generous holiday allowance, training package and overtime opportunities. Overtime is paid at 1.5x and 2x where applicable.

Qualifications

• Experience with plant, forklifts, HGV, or similar equipment.
• Ideally hold a Level 3 (or equivalent) in a relevant subject.
• Willingness to travel locally from home base and cover roughly an hour radius.

Responsibilities

• Carry out PPM and breakdown on materials handling machinery on a field service basis.
• Complete training to become fully competent on all machinery and equipment.
• Spares stocked in the van overnight and travel to customer sites.
