Job summary

Linde Material Handling is hiring a Field Service Engineer to service forklifts and material handling equipment across the M5 corridor, including Exeter, Taunton, Wellington, Bridgwater and Highbridge areas. You will diagnose issues, perform preventative maintenance, and travel to customer sites, building strong customer relationships while upholding safety and quality standards.

Prior experience as a forklift technician or vehicle technician is preferred, with a valid UK driving licence and IT

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 3 or equivalent is preferred.
• Full UK driving licence is essential.
• Experience as a vehicle, forklift or plant technician is advantageous.
• Comfortable using IT equipment and basic software.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and resolve technical issues to keep equipment working at peak efficiency.
• Undertake preventative maintenance and routine servicing.
• Travel to customer locations to service forklifts and material handling equipment.
• Build strong relationships and deliver exceptional customer support.
