Job summary

TipTopJob is seeking a Field Service Technician to join our Wiltshire-based team. You will carry out service, repair and maintenance on lorry loader cranes and related machinery, with full product and manufacturer training provided.

The role suits engineers at early career stages, offering on-site workshop work and on-site breakdown coverage, generous overtime, and a clear path for long-term progression within a committed service-focused company.

Qualifications

• NVQ or City & Guilds in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering is desirable.
• Experience on lorry loader cranes, plant or construction machinery preferred.
• Full UK driving license.
• Positive attitude towards learning and development.

Responsibilities

• Carry out all service, repair and maintenance work on a range of lorry loader cranes and associated machinery.
• Carry out tests and inspections on all products.
• Carry out fault finding and diagnostic testing on mechanical, electrical, pneumatic and hydraulic systems.
• Manage own workload and work independently, providing high levels of customer service at all times.
• Working within the workshop, alongside attending breakdowns on customer sites.
