Job summary

Holt JCB Limited is seeking Mobile Service Engineers to perform routine maintenance on JCB machines across the South West of England and South Wales. This customer-facing role requires you to manage site visits, communicate clearly with customers and deliver high-quality service in the field.

You will follow defined service schedules, complete checks, and maintain thorough service records while upholding Holt JCB standards and ensuring equipment is safe and ready for use.

Qualifications

• Mechanical engineering or plant maintenance experience.
• Experience servicing construction, agricultural, automotive or similar equipment.
• Full UK driving licence.
• Ability to follow manufacturer service schedules and technical procedures.
• Strong fault-identification skills.

Responsibilities

• Complete planned and routine maintenance on JCB machines in accordance with manufacturer requirements.
• Follow defined service schedules, procedures and checklists.
• Carry out fluid, filter and routine service-item replacement as required.
• Inspect machines during servicing and identify defects, wear or developing issues.
• Complete required machine checks efficiently and accurately.
• Escalate additional repair requirements or safety concerns appropriately.
• Ensure machines are left safe, clean and ready for customer use.
• Complete service records, job documentation and checklists accurately and promptly.
