Job summary

Fluid Water Group seeks an Assistant Engineer to join on a permanent basis. You will support Service Engineers with on-site commissioning, servicing, repairs and installation across UK contracts, carrying out site surveys and promoting services. The role is mobile, with overtime and occasional stays away from home.

You will help maintain accurate customer and asset information using mobile tools, while adhering to health and safety procedures. A full UK driving licence is required.

Qualifications

• Experience working with pumps and pressurised systems.
• Full UK driving licence.
• Strong organisational skills and time management.
• Self-motivated with proactive work approach.
• Excellent attention to detail.

• Health & safety awareness essential.
• Willingness to travel and stay away from home occasionally.
• Willingness to develop servicing, commissioning, fault finding and installation skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide assistance and support to Service Engineers with day-to-day duties.
• Carry out servicing of equipment on site under supervision of Lead Engineer.
• Carry out commissioning of Fluid Water Group products.
• Complete site surveys and provide accurate information to the office.
• Maintain accurate customer, asset and contract information using a mobile device.
• Follow all Health & Safety procedures, Risk Assessments and Method Statements.
• Identify opportunities to promote AGM Services.
• Support the wider Service team with on-site activities as required.
