Job summary

Vertas is seeking a Mobile Caretaker to join our Facilities Team across Rushcliffe and West Bridgford. This role is for 30 hours per week, working 06:00–09:00 and 15:00–18:00, Monday to Friday, year round.

You will help keep sites safe, clean and well maintained while providing excellent customer service. You'll travel between locations, perform light maintenance tasks, assist contractors, and perform health and safety checks.

Qualifications

• Experience in a similar caretaking or facilities role.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to work across multiple sites and locations.
• Flexible and proactive approach to tasks.

Responsibilities

• Opening and securing sites as required.
• Travelling between locations to provide caretaking support.
• Waste management and porterage tasks.
• Light decorating and basic maintenance work.
• Site inspections and health and safety checks.
• Supporting contractors on site and reporting issues.
• General caretaking duties and cleaning.
