Job summary

Randstad Construction and Property is seeking a Mobile Fabric Maintenance Engineer to cover NW London sites. The role offers a salary up to £38,000–£42,000 per year plus a company van and fuel card, with Monday–Friday, standard hours.

You will perform routine fabric maintenance, minor repairs and reactive works across designated facilities, using your trade skills in carpentry, painting, plumbing and tiling to maintain-site standards.

Qualifications

• Experience as Fabric Engineer, Handyperson or Multi-skilled Technician in commercial or mobile settings.
• Full UK driving licence (essential for van usage).

Responsibilities

• Carry out routine fabric maintenance, minor repairs and reactive works across designated facilities in NW London.
• Perform basic carpentry, door/lock repairs, painting, decorating, basic plumbing, and minor tiling/plastering.
• Ensure all work meets health, safety and compliance standards within emergency service buildings.
• Manage job tickets via a mobile device and keep records of completed work and materials ordered.

Education

NVQ Level 2/3 in Carpentry, Plumbing, or Painting
