Mobile Fabric Engineer

The Company:

My client is a major privately-owned company specializing in built environment construction, development, and property maintenance in the UK.

They provide Mechanical & Electrical, Fabric, Air Conditioning, and Combustion maintenance and installations to commercial & retail environments.

The Role:

You will work Monday to Friday, from 7am to 4pm.

Work will be on a selection of commercial sites in the Leicester area.

General Duties:

• Plumbing repairs
• Door maintenance and repair
• Tiling patch repairs, wall and floor
• Temporary repairs to flooring, carpets, lino, and screeds
• Suspended ceiling repairs
• Shelving and racking
• Painting and decorating
• Lock changes and repairs
• External repairs, e.g., patch brickwork, paving
• Providing detailed and accurate reports for remedial works required during site visits
• Complying with company QA and departmental procedures
• Maintaining all company-issued tools safely and in good condition
• Assisting in the preparation of emergency and contingency plans
• Keeping accurate records of all planned preventative maintenance and emergency repairs
• Overseeing site activities, ensuring safety standards are met
• Performing duties in accordance with health and safety legislation and company policies, including safe chemical storage

Requirements:

City & Guilds qualification in Plumbing (desirable)

Previous experience in a similar role (essential)
