Job summary

Mitie is seeking a Mobile Fabric Engineer to provide on-site facilities support across client sites in Brighton. The role involves carrying out building fabric tasks, from patch repairs to minor plumbing and carpentry, while upholding strict health and safety standards.

You will respond to queries, report defects, and keep clients informed during service visits, working within a dynamic facilities team. This is a full-time, on-site position requiring a proactive, safety-conscious professional.

Qualifications

• Background in facilities or mobile maintenance, in a construction or similar environment.
• Qualified to Level 2 or 3 City & Guilds.
• Strong health and safety awareness.

Responsibilities

• Undertaking all building fabric activities, such as patch repairs, minor plumbing and carpentry, painting and decorating.
• Ensuring you are working to high levels of health and safety and statutory requirements.
• Required to answer queries, report any defects and keep the client informed of site activities at the time of the service visit.
