Job summary

CBRE Global Workplace Solutions (GWS) is seeking a Mobile Engineering Supervisor to oversee engineers across Manchester and surrounding areas. This hands-on role ensures safe, compliant maintenance delivery and supports high-quality service across a multi-site portfolio.

The successful candidate will lead a mobile team, act as technical lead for engineers and clients, and drive improvements while maintaining safety and CBRE standards.

Qualifications

• Engineering qualification with electrical or mechanical bias.
• Experience in facilities management or building services.
• Supervisory or lead engineer experience preferred.
• Strong troubleshooting and fault-finding skills.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and support a team of mobile engineers across multiple sites.
• Act as the technical point of contact for engineers and clients.
• Ensure planned, reactive and corrective maintenance is delivered safely and compliantly.
• Carry out hands-on fault-finding and maintenance when required, including emergency cover.
• Manage specialist subcontractors and small works where needed.
• Drive compliance with health & safety, statutory and CBRE standards.
• Complete audits, site visits and quality checks across mobile routes.
• Use CAFM systems to plan, monitor and report on work activity.
• Identify service improvements and additional scope opportunities.
