Job Role: Mobile Service Engineer (Agricultural/Horticultural Machinery)

Location:

Shefford, Bedfordshire (accepting applications from surrounding counties)

Salary:

GBP30,000 - GBP42,000 base, OTE GBP45,000 - GBP50,000+ (Apply online only)

Hours:

Monday-Friday 08:00-17:00 + up to 48 hours, anything over

Full time, Permanent

The Client:

Interaction Technical has partnered with a growing, market-leading dealer of Agricultural Engineering Equipment based in Gloucestershire to support the growth of their engineering team. They are looking to add an electromechanical field engineer in and around the Cirencester area to maintain, repair, and service agricultural machinery.

The Package:

• 30 days holiday including bank holidays, increasing with service
• Overtime paid at 1.5X after 39 hours, and at 2X over 48 hours
• Plenty of overtime available throughout the year (average 15-20 hours per week)

• All travel time during call outs, expenses paid from home to/from site

The Duties:

1. Diagnosing faults, servicing, and repairing agricultural machinery (tractors, combiners, bailers, etc.)
2. Traveling to customer sites to maintain and repair machinery
3. Carrying out diagnostics for mechanical and electrical faults
4. Working independently and collaborating with colleagues to ensure quality documentation and solutions
5. Working on engines, batteries, hydraulics, and conducting fault finding and repairs
6. Liaising with clients to diagnose faults and provide solutions

The Requirements:

• Experience with hydraulics, mechanical, and electrical systems (essential)
• Experience in the Agricultural industry (advantageous)
• Fault finding, repair, and servicing experience in electrical and mechanical systems (advantageous)
• Experience working with engines and batteries (advantageous)
• Relevant qualifications such as NVQ or City and Guilds in mechanical/electrical engineering (advantageous)
• Full UK Driver's License
