Job summary

WPS is seeking a skilled Mobile Engineer to join our Facilities Management team across the Midlands, supporting our client, JLL. This role offers variety, autonomy and the delivery of high-quality technical services across multiple sites.

You will perform planned and reactive maintenance on building services, respond to helpdesk requests and ensure health and safety standards. A full UK driving licence and relevant trade qualifications are essential.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering hard M&E services in mobile/multi-site role.
• Trade qualification in Electrical or Mechanical (NVQ/City & Guilds).
• 18th Edition or equivalent for electrical candidates.
• Health & Safety training (IOSH or equivalent) desirable.
• Full UK driving licence required.

Responsibilities

• Carry out planned and reactive maintenance on mechanical and electrical building services.
• Respond to helpdesk requests, breakdowns, and emergencies, ensuring timely resolutions.
• Ensure health and safety compliance and company standards at all times.
• Liaise with site contacts and supervisors to maintain service excellence.
• Support sustainability initiatives and energy-saving measures.
• Maintain accurate records with CAFM/PDA and provide detailed reports.

About The Role

WPS is seeking a skilled and motivated Mobile Engineer to join our Facilities Management team across the Midlands, supporting our client, JLL. This is a dynamic role for someone who enjoys variety, autonomy, and delivering high-quality technical services across multiple sites.

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance on mechanical and electrical building services.


• Respond promptly and professionally to helpdesk requests, breakdowns, and emergencies.


• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and company standards at all times.


• Liaise with site contacts and supervisors to maintain service excellence.


• Support sustainability initiatives and energy-saving measures.


• Maintain accurate records of work completed and materials used using CAFM/PDA technology.


• Provide detailed reports and updates on works delivered.

What We're Looking For

• Experience in delivering hard M&E services in a mobile or multi-site role.


• Strong technical knowledge of building services and maintenance.


• Excellent communication and time management skills.


• Full UK driving licence.


• Trade-related qualification (Electrical or Mechanical), e.g., NVQ, City & Guilds.
