Job summary

WPS is seeking a Mobile Engineer to join our Facilities Management team across the Midlands, supporting our client JLL. The role offers autonomy and variety, delivering high-quality technical services on multiple sites.

Key requirements include a full UK driving licence, electrical or mechanical trade qualifications, and knowledge of building services. Training, career development, and a benefits package accompany a competitive salary.

Qualifications

• Strong technical knowledge of building services and maintenance.
• Electrical or mechanical trade qualifications recognized.
• 18th Edition (for electrical candidates) or equivalent.
• Health & Safety training (IOSH or equivalent) desirable.

Responsibilities

• Carry out planned preventative and reactive maintenance on mechanical and electrical building services.
• Respond to helpdesk requests, breakdowns and emergencies promptly and professionally.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and company standards.
• Liaise with site contacts and supervisors to maintain service excellence.
• Support sustainability initiatives and energy-saving measures.
• Maintain accurate records using CAFM/PDA technology.
• Provide detailed reports on works delivered.

This is a dynamic role for someone who enjoys variety, autonomy, and delivering high-quality technical services across multiple sites. Key Responsibilities:

• Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance on mechanical and electrical building services.
• Respond promptly and professionally to helpdesk requests, breakdowns, and emergencies.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and company standards at all times.
• Liaise with site contacts and supervisors to maintain service excellence.
• Support sustainability initiatives and energy-saving measures.
• Maintain accurate records of work completed and materials used using CAFM/PDA technology.
• Provide detailed reports and updates on works delivered. Experience in delivering hard M&E services in a mobile or multi-site role.
