Job summary

Selwood Limited is expanding its electrical division and seeks a Mobile Electrician based out of Bridgend. You will install, service and repair electrical and mechanical pump equipment across branches and customer sites in the south region, working to regulatory standards.

The role requires a JIB qualification and ECS card considerations, a full UK driving licence, a 40-hour week plus an on-call rota. You will join a safety‑driven team with strong emphasis on reliability and customer service.

Qualifications

• Essential to be a JIB Qualified Electrician with ECS Gold/Card eligibility.
• Full UK driving licence required for company van use.
• Experience in electrical installations and pump equipment is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Carry out electrical installation work safely and to current regulations.
• Maintain, install, service and repair electrical and pump sets across branches.
• Produce repair reports and cost estimates; advise on safety issues.
• Keep vehicles and work areas clean and organized.
• Ensure Risk Assessments and Method Statements are followed.
• Communicate with managers and customers about timelines and quality.
• Attend call-outs as part of a 1 in 6 weeks rota.
