Job summary

EQUANS are looking for a Mobile Electrician for our Rotherham Schools contract. This permanent full-time role operates across 14 schools, with a company van provided. Expect a competitive salary and benefits as part of a 40-hour week.

The ideal candidate will have City & Guilds Level III or ONC, 18th Edition, and PAT testing qualifications, with fault-finding and maintenance experience to work unsupervised.

Qualifications

• Awareness of risk assessment and working safely with electronic test equipment.
• Ability to follow work instructions, read/ interpret technical diagrams and report technical information.

Responsibilities

• Carry out electrical maintenance, reactive repairs and fault finding.
• Carry out planned and minor project electrical works.
• Provide out of hours cover as part of a rota.
• Complete electrical small works and test sheets to comply with accreditation.
