Job summary

EQUANS is recruiting a Mobile Electrician to join our Midlands team on a permanent basis. The role is full-time (40 hours per week) with a company vehicle and benefits package.

The work covers the Midlands, including West Midlands, Birmingham, Stoke-on-Trent, and surrounding sites, with on-call duties included. You will perform electrical works in commercial settings, manage PPMs, reactive tasks, and ensure accurate paperwork is completed and logged.

Qualifications

• Qualified electrician with valid trade certificate and driving license.
• Experience with commercial electrical works and maintenance.
• Desirable: 2391 Testing & Inspection qualification.

Responsibilities

• Carry out electrical works in commercial settings (emergency lighting, distribution boards, installation).
• Cover multiple sites within the Midlands contract (e.g., Stoke-on-Trent, Birmingham).
• Complete PPM, reactive and breakdown tasks with proper documentation and PDA entries.
• Prepare paperwork and handover to contract administrator without delay.
