Job summary

Hamilton Rowe Recruitment Services Ltd. is seeking a skilled Mobile Electrician to service London and the surrounding areas. The role focuses on reactive electrical work in commercial properties, diagnosing faults, and performing repairs, remedial works, and small installations.

You will also complete EICR reports where required and install lighting, switches, sockets, and EV charging points as needed. A company van is provided along with fuel card and a competitive package.

Qualifications

• City & Guilds 2330 Level 3 or equivalent required.
• NVQ Level 3 or equivalent required.
• 18th Edition Wiring Regulations and driving licence essential.

Mobile Electrician

London and surrounding areas Up to £40,000

We are currently seeking an experienced Mobile Electrician to join a small yet highly reputable company operating within the commercial sector.

The role is primarily reactive, attending commercial properties across London and the surrounding counties to diagnose and resolve electrical faults, complete repairs, carry out remedial works, and undertake small installations. This is an excellent opportunity for a practical, customer-focused electrician who enjoys working independently and solving problems on site.

Responsibilities

• Attend reactive electrical callouts across commercial properties in London and surrounding areas.
• Diagnose and repair electrical faults efficiently and safely.
• Carry out electrical remedial works following inspections and surveys.
• Complete EICR reports where required.
• Replace and install lighting, light fittings, switches, sockets, and other electrical accessories.
• Carry out electrical repairs and small installation works.
• Install and replace EV charging points where required.
• Investigate electrical faults and identify the most appropriate solutions.
• Respond promptly to urgent customer callouts and minimise disruption to clients.
• Carry out surveys and provide recommendations for remedial works.Complete job sheets, reports, photographs, and other paperwork using company software.
• Communicate professionally with customers, contractors, and colleagues.
• Ensure all work is completed safely and in accordance with current regulations and company procedures.
• Represent the company professionally when attending customer sites.

Package

• Up to £40,000 per annum, dependent on experience.
• Monday to Friday, 8am – 5pm.

Essential Requirements

• City & Guilds 2330 Level 3 or equivalent.

• Proven experience in commercial electrical work.
• Strong reactive fault-finding and electrical repair skills.
• Experience carrying out EICR reports and remedial works.
• Experience replacing and installing lighting, sockets, switches, and electrical accessories.
• Ability to diagnose faults and find practical solutions quickly.
• Ability to work independently and manage reactive jobs efficiently.
• Willingness to travel across London and surrounding counties.
• Professional manner with good communication and customer service skills.
