Electrician - London/N5 2EQ - Temp Contract - Immediate start - Leading employer

Our leading Facilities Management client has a new opening for a Mobile Maintenance Electrician to work with a school in the London area (postcode N5 2EQ). The successful candidate will be part of a highly competent team.

Job Title: Mobile Electrical Technician (Electrician)
Location: London, N5 2EQ
Hours: Monday - Friday, 08:00 to 16:00 (37.5 hours/week)
Pay Rate: £21/hour
Duration: ASAP - 29/07/2025
Requirements: Enhanced DBS (including barred list check), Full UK Driving Licence, Good timekeeping and reliability

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform routine inspections of electrical systems, including wiring, fixtures, and appliances
• Identify faults or potential hazards and carry out necessary repairs
• Review and interpret technical diagrams and blueprints to assess wiring layouts
• Conduct testing of electrical systems using tools such as oscilloscopes, voltmeters, and ohmmeters
• Undertake maintenance and repairs on outdated or malfunctioning systems
• Provide recommendations for system upgrades or replacements
• Ensure all work complies with current health, safety, and performance standards

Qualifications & Skills:

• BS 7671 18th Edition Certification
• NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installations
• Full UK Driving Licence
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
• Good timekeeping and dependable work ethic
• Be reliable, positive, and self motivated
