Job summary
Veolia Group is seeking a Senior Electrical Tradesperson to support mobile maintenance across London, mainly from South London. The role includes a salary up to £45,000 per annum, plus a company vehicle and Veolia benefits, with a 43-hour week and an on-call roster.
You will diagnose electrical issues, adhere to safety and maintenance schedules, and coordinate with site teams and clients to ensure compliant, reliable service delivery.
Qualifications
- Senior Trades with City & Guilds or equivalent in Electrical Engineering.
- Hands-on experience with three-phase electrical systems and motor control.
- Proven electrical troubleshooting and repair skills.
- Ability to read P&ID diagrams and electrical drawings.
- Experience with Permit to Work systems and compliance frameworks.
- Strong analytical approach and teamwork skills.
Responsibilities
- Adhere to Health and Safety policies and Veolia standards while carrying out work.
- Complete tasks according to Site Manager schedules and maintenance shutdowns.
- Diagnose and resolve equipment problems, including PAT testing and RAMS reviews.
- Complete site documentation, manage asset lists, and support KPI targets.
- Liaise with clients, stakeholders, and subcontractors during planned service maintenance.
- Participate in training, audits, and maintain tools to comply with electrical regulations.
