Job summary

Veolia is seeking a mobile electrical maintenance engineer to service multiple sites across the Midlands. The role requires carrying out routine maintenance, inspections and minor mechanical tasks, with a 1 in 4 on-call weekend rota and 24/7 site support.

You will interact with clients daily to ensure high-quality service delivery. Qualified to HNC in Electrical Maintenance, you should demonstrate PLC fault-finding expertise, strong teamwork, and a proactive, can-do attitude.

Qualifications

Qualified to HNC level in Electrical Maintenance.
Proven ability to fault find on PLC and control systems.
Self-motivated, team player with a can-do attitude.
Full driving licence; willing to coach and assist others.

Responsibilities

Safely operate and maintain multiple sites as a mobile engineer with 100% service delivery to client KPIs.
Carry out Planned Preventive Maintenance within required timeframes.
Inspect and service electrical equipment and instrumentation; assist with mechanical tasks as needed.
Work with a close team on a 1 in 4 callout/weekend rota; 24/7 coverage.
Interact with clients daily to meet needs and deliver excellent service.
