Job summary
Royal Mail is seeking a skilled maintenance professional to deliver electrical and related system maintenance across a defined area. You will lead electrical maintenance projects, diagnose faults, and provide clear guidance to customers and colleagues.
You will travel between sites with a company vehicle, maintain strong safety standards, and support planned and corrective maintenance to meet contract performance. An 18th Edition certificate is required.
Qualifications
- Must hold Electrical City & Guilds certificates (2382 and 2391 testing & inspection).
- Must have 18th Edition certification or equivalent.
- Experience with planned maintenance of electrical and mechanical systems is essential.
- Strong fault-finding and diagnostic abilities with the ability to advise others.
- Excellent communication to explain technical issues to customers.
Responsibilities
- Carry out maintenance of electrical systems across multiple commercial sites.
- Diagnose faults and provide expert advice to customers on equipment.
- Perform basic plumbing tasks and replacements as needed.
- Lead on facilities management systems focused on electrical maintenance.
- Liaise daily with customer representatives to ensure requirements are met.
