Job summary

Royal Mail Property & Facilities Solutions is recruiting a Mobile Electrical and Maintenance Engineer to cover the West Midlands and surrounding parts of central England. The role involves electrical and mechanical maintenance across multiple sites, with a company vehicle provided for travel.

You will hold relevant electrical certifications (18th Edition, City & Guilds 2382/2391) and have experience in fault finding, service planning, and liaising with customers.

Qualifications

• Electrical certifications including 18th Edition and City & Guilds 2382/2391.
• Experience in planned maintenance of electrical and mechanical systems.
• Ability to diagnose faults and advise across multiple systems.
• Valid UK driving license and willingness to travel between sites.
• Comfortable working at heights with MEWP/IPAF.

Responsibilities

• Carry out maintenance of electrical systems across various commercial sites.
• Diagnose faults and provide expert advice on equipment like roller shutter doors.
• Perform basic plumbing tasks as required.
• Ensure safety practices and timely completion of maintenance tasks.
• Liaise with customers and managers to meet requirements.
