A fantastic opportunity to work for an M&E Service Provider, recruiting for a Mobile Electrical Maintenance Engineer covering multiple sites across the Exeter area. This is a permanent position offering a salary of £38,000 per annum, along with a company vehicle and fuel card.

There are overtime opportunities and excellent prospects for career progression.

Job Role

You will be required to work Monday to Friday, 8am to 5pm, with overtime opportunities available. Engineers are expected to be highly technically skilled with strong fault-finding abilities and a desire to work in a demanding yet rewarding environment.

The role of a Mobile Maintenance Engineer involves carrying out servicing and reactive repairs to electrical and mechanical services. Additionally, the engineer will assist other trades as directed by the operations supervisor. You will be expected to carry out routine maintenance independently (PPM and reactive), diagnose and repair faults on electrical and building services such as:

• Lighting testing and repairs
• Fire alarms
• AHU maintenance
• Pumps and motors
• Heating system fault finding (heat exchangers, actuators, pipework)

Relevant work experience includes, but is not limited to:

• Emergency lighting
• AHUs, FCUs
• Pumps, Motors
• Plumbing
• Fans, Belts, Filters
• General maintenance

Skills Required

The successful candidate must have:

• At least 3 years of experience in electrical building services
• Full UK clean driving licence
• 18th Edition certification
• City & Guilds Electrical or Mechanical Level 3 installation, or equivalent
• Good presentation and interpersonal skills, as this is a client-facing role
