Job summary
VIVO Defence Services is seeking an experienced Electrical Installation Engineer to deliver safe, high-quality technical services across RAF Wyton, Wittering, Carver Barracks and Bassingbourne Barracks. This mobile role requires strong knowledge of JSP and Safe Systems of Work, with on-site delivery and occasional on-call duties.
You will assess competence, produce risk assessments and method statements, provide technical support to site teams and supply chains, and ensure compliance with MoD
Qualifications
- Fully qualified Level 3 Electrical Engineer.
- AP tickets in Electrical or Mechanical preferred, but training can be provided.
- Strong knowledge of Safe Systems of Work and JSP375 (desirable).
- Experience supervising site operations and leading teams across multiple sites.
Responsibilities
- Ensure delivery of contractual obligations on time and safely.
- Assess competence of skilled personnel; produce high-quality Risk Assessments and Method Statements.
- Provide technical support to site teams, supply chain partners and end users.
- Advise on Safe Systems of Work; liaise with stakeholders to maintain standards.
- Coach and supervise Skilled Persons to ensure safe, regulatory operation.
